Molly & Harry had the most charming English Seaside Wedding in Bantham, Cornwall, where they both spent their summer holidays and met one Summer’s day. Whilst they both now live in London, the couple decided to return to this idyllic place for their wedding this Summer.
The Wedding Design
The beautiful Seaside wedding was designed by the super talented Liv Newiss Creative who always creates the most stunning events. Her eye for the perfect detail is exceptional and everywhere you look something elegant and utterly romantic awaits you.
Liv chose the very brilliant Lucy Bowen Design to create really gorgeous, whimsical, wedding stationary, featuring a bucket & Spade, seashells, little boats, delphiniums and Holly Hocks… Oh and a bottle of Champagne, of course!
This charming theme ran through the whole wedding design: Hundreds of delphiniums created the most abundant flower arch, decorating the church. (Emma Hewlett Florist) Whilst all the place names were meticulously hand painted in gold, on mussel shells, for each guest by the very clever Sophia Vaughan at SV Calligraphy
The Wedding Reception
During the reception overlooking the Estuary where Molly & Harry first met, the Guests ate fresh Oysters from The Oyster Shack and sipped Champagne. A wondering Mariachi band sung brilliant songs and the guests sung and danced along with them…Such joy!
The Party!
Later that night, after a superb meal created by talented Chef Simon Desmond, Molly and Harry took to the dance floor for their first dance. Their Guests cheered as glitter cannons were fired and the happy couple danced under dreamy fluttering glitter.
The Lights Inc are possibly one of the coolest wedding bands I have seen and they played the most brilliant set, whilst the Phenomenal front man Spencer Kennedy got the guests partying all night long.
What with incredible fireworks and a sparkler tunnel exit thrown in for good measure, this really was uch a wonderful, magical, fun filled wedding! So much luck and love to you Molly & Harry xx

Jacquetta Wheeler’s wedding was the most incredible day ever. And she was the most relaxed, laid back, not to mention extremely beautiful bride. Her and James made such a gorgeous and glamorous couple and the whole day was perfect. I’m not sure Ive enjoyed a wedding more. Everywhere I looked there was something breathtakingly lovely- It was such a treat to be part of. The divine Scarlet & Violet arranged the flowers and as I walked into the wedding breakfast I actually got a lump in my throat, it was just jaw-droppingly pretty. Oh and British Vogue published my photographs! What more could a girl ask for?!

This summer, I was invited by Simon Liebel Designs to Switzerland to take the photographs of Kate & Charlie’s incredible St Moritz Wedding. The Kulm was chosen, as Kate has spent many Christamases there so it has very a special place in her heart. Lulu from Maison de Fleurs designed the most stunning flowers, in beautiful whites and creams, accented with my absolute favourite, pale and dark blue Delphiniums. Breathtaking stuff.
Kate wore one of my favourite dresses ever by Vivianne Westwood along with gorgeous Westwood shoes, white for the daytime and silver ones for the dancing. Kate’s Maids of Honour, her Bridesmaids and her Mother all wore Vivian Westood and they all looked so gorgeous… Such lucky ladies.
After a beautiful ceremony at The Santa Maria in Pontresina, the sweetest little hill top church I’ve ever seen, the guests made their way back to The Kulm. They enjoyed drinks and canapes on the terrace overlooking the incredible, snow topped mountains, reflecting in the lake. Such a stunning view.
Then to The Wedding Breakfast in the most spectacular panelled room, crammed full of amazing flowers and lit by candles… I heard quite a few guests gasp as they walked in. It really was something special, indeed.
Then, after dinner the guests danced the night away to the completely amazing & completely bonkers London Afrobeat Collective I’ve never seen anything like it. Now here, I have to mention Kate’s dancing… My word, that girl can dance! She also had the best dress to dance in, ever! I dont think I’ve ever seen a crowd enjoy dancing so much and Charlie looked so extremely happy with his beautiful new wife.
It makes me smile now, just thinking about it. Seriously heartwarming stuff xx
‘THANK YOU LUCY!!! You were amazing to have around on the day and the photos are spectacular. We are so incredibly pleased and impressed with the final result. It was a pleasure working with you and we couldn’t recommend you more highly. You are a Marvel - Thank you so much… IT LOOKS LIKE SO MUCH FUN I WISH I COULD DO IT ALL AGAIN! xxx’
