Molly & Harry had the most charming English Seaside Wedding in Bantham, Cornwall, where they both spent their summer holidays and met one Summer’s day. Whilst they both now live in London, the couple decided to return to this idyllic place for their wedding this Summer.
The Wedding Design
The beautiful Seaside wedding was designed by the super talented Liv Newiss Creative who always creates the most stunning events. Her eye for the perfect detail is exceptional and everywhere you look something elegant and utterly romantic awaits you.
Liv chose the very brilliant Lucy Bowen Design to create really gorgeous, whimsical, wedding stationary, featuring a bucket & Spade, seashells, little boats, delphiniums and Holly Hocks… Oh and a bottle of Champagne, of course!
This charming theme ran through the whole wedding design: Hundreds of delphiniums created the most abundant flower arch, decorating the church. (Emma Hewlett Florist) Whilst all the place names were meticulously hand painted in gold, on mussel shells, for each guest by the very clever Sophia Vaughan at SV Calligraphy
The Wedding Reception
During the reception overlooking the Estuary where Molly & Harry first met, the Guests ate fresh Oysters from The Oyster Shack and sipped Champagne. A wondering Mariachi band sung brilliant songs and the guests sung and danced along with them…Such joy!
The Party!
Later that night, after a superb meal created by talented Chef Simon Desmond, Molly and Harry took to the dance floor for their first dance. Their Guests cheered as glitter cannons were fired and the happy couple danced under dreamy fluttering glitter.
The Lights Inc are possibly one of the coolest wedding bands I have seen and they played the most brilliant set, whilst the Phenomenal front man Spencer Kennedy got the guests partying all night long.
What with incredible fireworks and a sparkler tunnel exit thrown in for good measure, this really was uch a wonderful, magical, fun filled wedding! So much luck and love to you Molly & Harry xx

Claire & Joe got married at the wonderful Ham Yard Hotel in London.
Claire looked so elegant in her amazing Carolina Herrera Dress. I was so excited when I saw the dress, as it’s just so beautiful and modern and perfect and of course, she looked incredible.
Their intimate ceremony took place on the beautiful roof terrace. Their guests sat on sofas and sipped champagne and watched the lovely couple say their vows, in the presence of their beautiful daughter Freya, who was a little bridesmaid.
The roof Terrace was filled with lanterns and succulents and delphiniums, all created by the brilliant Inspired Floristry and the lanterns glowed as they sipped champagne, as the sun went down over London.
The guests then headed down into a private dining room for the most lovely dinner and they danced the night away… One of my favourite weddings of last summer.
I was so touched to receive this little message from Claire about her Grand mother, who is the lovely lady in Blue with the bright sparkly eyes…
“Im just going through your photos again…They really are brilliant. It makes us so happy looking at them…My grandmother died last week. She made a huge effort to make it the first half of wedding and you took some amazing photos of her… You captured her beautifully. They are the perfect way to remember her….I just wanted to say another big thank you!”

Tammie & Rob chose The Penthouse & Pavilion at The Dorchester for their gorgeous London Wedding. It is just the prettiest venue and perfect for the intimate ceremony, with just their closest friends and family.
Tammie wore the most incredible Oscar de la Renta dress with gorgeous Charlotte Olympia shoes. She looked totally glamorous and took everybody’s breath away when she walked in the room.
After a lovely drinks reception, all the guests headed to The Natural History Museum by Routemaster London Bus, where Tammie & Rob were greeted by more guests. Everybody dined under the magnificent Iconic Dinosaur at tables full of cream Roses, Hydrangeas and Herbs, all created by the brilliant florist, Paul Hawkins.
The Wedding Favours were made by Tammie’s lovely friend and owner of Tuck Box Cakes. He created hundreds of gorgeous, glittering Dinosaur cookies, all made lovingly, by hand.
I absolutely love these two. They were just so lovely to be around and I fell in love with their wonderful family too. It’s really quite a big deal to share such a special day like this…You end up feeling like you are part of it all and kind of sad it only gets to be for just one day.
“Just a quick email to say that we think you are a total mega star! Thank you so much, it was such a pleasure to have you there… I’ve just looked through them and I LOVE THEM! I’ve already cried. Thank you so much Lucy - you are amazing XXX”

Diane & Teddie are the loveliest couple who live in London. Diane is originally from America and Teddie is from Finland so they decided to get married in Rome. When they asked me to join them there to photograph their weekend of celebrations, I was so excited. Rome is one of my favourite cities and to be able to photograph such a beautiful event there is always a huge privilege.
The lucky couple chose the magnificent Villa Aurelia for their wedding day, which is such a special location. If it wasn’t magical enough, Diane & Teddie chose the wonderful Floriala Decor to create the most breathtakingly beautiful floristry. The ceremony was performed underneath the most splendid floral arch of Peonies, Roses and Delphiniums and pink Rose petals lined the aisle. Then later on, guests dined in the open air courtyard , with tables full of pink Sweet Peas, Hydrangeas, Roses & bowls of cherries, complete with hundreds of candles and lemon trees.
Diane wore the most incredible Marchesa dress and the whole thing was just magical.
Their amazing wedding was planned by the super talented Wed in Italy Event Planners, who specialise in destination weddings in Italy and did such a wonderful job. It really was such a beautiful wedding and when I look at the photos, I just wish I could go back…

Now this wedding was special. Definitely one of my favourites weddings of last year, possibly of all time.
Liv Newiss, founder of Indigo Wedding Events has the most wonderful taste and everything she creates is just SO beautiful. All the suppliers she uses are the best in the business and her weddings are always heaven. The wedding was very close to Liv’s heart, as the bride and groom are her best friends and she somehow managed the entire day effortlessly, whilst also moonlighting as The Maid of Honour!
The glorious Scarlett & Violet created floral heaven in their marquee at Welford Park in Berkshire. Charlie & Iain are lucky enough to live in a cottage on the grounds so they were allowed to use the beautiful location for their wedding day and their service was held at the church, also within the grounds.
Charlie & Iain are possible the most in love couple I have met. They have a beautiful son Hugo together and are the happiest little family I have ever had the pleasure to photograph. The whole day was full of love and joy and beauty and was truly inspirational to be part of…

This summer, Maya & Christian invited me to her home town of Salzburg, Austria, to photograph their amazing three day wedding celebrations. It was all masterfully planned by the super talented Prime Moments Events, who were a total joy to work alongside.
I felt so very lucky to be there… As the founder of the super cool online fashion retailer Avenue 32, Maya has absolutely impeccable taste. For the ceremony, Maya wore the most heavenly, romantic, full lace Elie Saab dress, with spiked Christian Louboutin heels. Her maids of honour wore white & blue floral Vilshenko dresses, which were definitely the prettiest dresses I have ever seen. Sharma, one the loveliest and most talented makeup artists in the business, travelled with us to Salzburg to work her magic, making everyone look breathtakingly beautiful.
St Peters Cathedral, Salzburg, was decorated simply with cream roses and Hydrangeas, letting the glorious interiors work their magic. After a beautiful ceremony, their guests wandered the few steps to The Salzburg Rotary Club, where they sipped champagne, ate delicious bowl food and danced in the open air courtyard to the wonderful travelling band.
If all that wasn’t enough, later on that evening, their Guests reconvened at The Sound of Music’s Glorious Leopoldskron Palace. Guests looked out over the lake on the most beautiful of summers’s evenings. Maya wore a stunning Maticevski dress and of course, looked divine. Guests dined across three of the most opulent rooms in The Palace while the wandering band got many of the guests dancing on the tables. After their wonderful meal, guests then headed downstairs and danced the night away. We had the honour of working alongside the brilliant Film maker, Jeff Wood Visuals who made the most stylish wedding film for Maya & Christian.
The whole weekend was just incredible. It was so glamorous and beautiful but so fun and and relaxed… It was everything I think the perfect wedding should be.
